Tobacco use remains a pressing public health issue worldwide, especially with shisha and other products gaining popularity among young people. Kazakhstan took a firm step by banning the sale, import, and production of e-cigarettes and all tobacco products, while maintaining restrictions on shisha smoking in public places.
