Denmark lacks a code of conduct to govern its officials’ interactions with the tobacco industry, leaving room for unmonitored influence. There are also no requirements for the industry to report production data, marketing expenditures, lobbying activities, or financial contributions.

Without mandatory disclosure, the activities of tobacco companies, affiliated organizations, and lobbyists remain largely hidden from public scrutiny. This lack of transparency weakens accountability and increases the risk of industry interference.
